Our Adoption Timeline
- 4/2/09 ~ Home forever together
- 3/18/09 ~ Gotcha Day!
- 2/17/09 ~ Received our Travel Arrangements, leave March 14!
- 1/5/2009 ~ Our LOA (letter of acceptance) was received by BCS, now waiting on travel invitation
- 12/23/2008 ~ Our Pre-approval to adopt Zhang HuiYi has been approved by China
- 12/23/2008 ~ Re-fingerprinted for the 3rd & final time!
- 11/25/2008 ~ REFERRAL!!! Our 3 year old daughter Zhang HuiYi is waiting for us!
- 5/31/2008 ~ 2 year LID anniversary
- 11/30/2007 ~ Received I-171H approval extension (please pray our referral comes before this expiration in 5/2009)
- 11/3/2007 ~ Re-fingerprinted (hopefully for the last time)
- 10/6/2007 ~ I-171H approval expires :(
- 9/28/2007 ~ Apply for 1 free extension of fingerprints & I-171H approval
- 5/31/2007 ~ One year LID anniversary
- 5/8/2007 ~ Fingerprints expire :( Advised to wait to redo these in order to avoid having to redo them too many times.
- 5/31/2006 ~ LID = Log In Date (China officially recognizes that we are awaiting our daughter! The official wait time begins.
- 5/26/2006 ~ DTC = Dossier to China!!
- 5/17/2006 ~ Receive Natalee's US Passport
- 5/9/2006 ~ Dossier completed & ready to go to BCS!
- 4/6/2006 ~ Receive 1-171H Approval
- 3/9/2006 ~ Fingerprinting appointment for 1-171H form
- 1/26/2006 ~ Sent 1-600A forms to USCIS
- 1/19/2006 ~ Request 1-600 Orphan packet from USCIS
- 1/16/2006 ~ Application for Natalee's Passport
- 1/11/2006 ~ Homestudy complete, begin document collection for Dossier
- 12/28/2005 ~ Approval from BCS & begin Homestudy update
- 12/23/2005 ~ Formal application complete
- 10/19/2005 ~ Complete BCS pre-approval to begin 2nd adoption

I know God will continue to bless you as you continue to get to know Megan and she gets to know you. All of you are in our prayers daily. God bless and take care. Lori M.
Oh, what a precious, beautiful girl! We played in that playroom, too. I'll certainly be praying in regards to Megan's grieving. Our daughter, Grace, grieved hard, but is joyful and delightful now!
